Anastasia Segrenyova is a Belarusian interdisciplinary artist whose practice bridges the technical precision of photography with the fluid materiality of fine art. Originally trained as an IT engineer Segrenyova spent over a decade mastering the foundations of image-making and traditional darkroom processes before earning a BFA in Painting from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in 2021. This unique background allows her to synthesize technical rigor with a conceptual project-based approach.

Her work has evolved from classical documentation toward a multi-layered exploration of memory, vulnerability and the human form within shifting environments. By integrating photography with sculptural installation and diverse media she moves beyond the single frame to create somatic experiences that challenge the boundaries of the medium.

Anastasia’s international profile includes an artist residency in London (2018) and participation in the Experimental Photo Festival in Barcelona (2024) that underscores her commitment to pushing the boundaries of contemporary art. She has exhibited in both solo and group shows in Belarus and abroad. Beyond her studio practice Anastasia is an active educator sharing her deep knowledge of photographic history and experimental processes with a new generation of artists. Today she continues to develop site-specific works and collaborative projects seeking new visual forms to articulate the complex often spectral relationship between the individual and the history they inhabit.
