WATER DIARY (2025)
Installation | IV drip, personal diary, photographs
This series of photographs and personal diary entries explores the volatile and multifaceted nature of water — not merely as an element but as a metaphor for various emotional states and the fragility of perception itself.
The project began with a personal fascination for water’s transformative power. In my quest to capture the fleeting moments where the water’s surface mirrors our internal landscapes I realized that the true essence of water escapes direct capture. This realization led me to begin a diary, a personal archive of thoughts and associations born from contemplation. This act became both a pursuit of understanding and a therapeutic practice and allowed me to process internal experiences and give them form.
The integration of imagery and text creates a multi-layered narrative where visual information is deepened by reflection. The presentation of these works on IV drip sets is deeply symbolic. As a tool for precise, gradual impact and healing, the IV drip underscores the restorative power of both the diary and water itself. Each drop, imbued with images and words, represents a moment of cleansing and peace and reminds us that recovery requires time and attention to detail. This meditative installation invites the viewer into a space of quiet restoration, found in the depths of both the self and the natural world.
